I wanted to pass details along on a few upcoming Township open house meetings...

208 Street Major Road Network Open House
Tuesday, May 25, 4 to 7 p.m.
Langley Events Centre Banquet Room

Willoughby Way Traffic Calming Design Concepts
Wednesday, May 5, 5 to 8 p.m.
Langley Meadows Community School Gymnasium
(an earlier open house found 40 of 44 residents supported traffic calming, especially "vertical deflection" like raised crosswalks and speed humps.)

32nd Avenue (270 to 272) Traffic Calming Design Concepts
Thursday, May 20, 5 to 8 p.m.
Parkside Centennial Elementary School Gymnasium
(an earlier open house found 60 of 65 residents supported traffic calming, including raised crosswalks, raised intersections, sped humps and curb extensions. The Township will also provide calming options for 270th, in front of the school.)

Nash Street Traffic Calming Design Concepts
Wednesday, June 2, 5 to 8 p.m.
Langley Fine Arts School Gymnasium
(an earlier open house found 9 of 44 residents wanted traffic calming on Nash from School to St. Andrews; 25 wanted it on Nash from 88th to St. Andrews. We're looking at measures for Nash and Trattle, such as raised crosswalks, raised intersections, and speed humps.)
